I don't know what I pressed but my view has changed.

Apologies that I can’t really explain myself but I thought I just pressed undo (cmd Z) but must have pressed something else as my view in the edit has gone to this/Users/kerry/Desktop/Screen Shot 2014-05-29 at 13.31.33.png

The time along the top is no longer there and I can’t see the sound waves. I know it’s probably very obvious but not to me at the moment so any help would be much appreciated. I can still play the tracks.

We can’t see your computer, so you would actually have to attach the screenshot, like this: https://forum.audacityteam.org/t/how-to-attach-files-to-forum-posts/24026/1 .

Try pressing F1 to go back to Selection Tool, or COMMAND + / to leave full screen, or COMMAND + F then COMMAND + SHIFT + F to fit the project horizontally and vertically respectively.
