Hi, thanks in advance. I’m using Audacity 3.4.2, I have a Mac mini with catalina OS 10.15.6. I have gone to mac preferences and enabled the microphone for audacity as per a previous post in this forum. I am using a MOTO 828x, I have set the preferences to motu 828x for playback, recording (2 track stereo) with a 48k sample rate with a 24bit default sample rate.
I used motu DP 11 which worked fine. I loaded an aiff file from a thumb drive and it worked fine as well. I feel I’m missing something simple, all help is appreciated.
You can select input and output devices directly in Audacity.
Sorry, my system is in German, but I think you can get the point where to look.
