I can not turn on Equalaizer in Audacity. What can I do?

The old Effect > Equalizer has been split into two different Effects: Filter Curve and Graphic Eq. If you liked using the old drawing curves system, then Filter Curve is for you. The old standard installed curves are available under Manage > Factory Presets. That’s where Low Rolloff for Speech is if you’re performing audiobooks.

And to make things clearer “Does what it says on the Tin” …

For the next release 2.4.0 we have changed Filter Curve… to be Filter Curve EQ…

Just so that folks realize that it is an EQ Equalizer effect.
