I am working with a couple edited video clips that have composite stereo audio and I need to remove the music

I am back after about 5 years using Adobe Audition…
In search of a not too tedious way to strip the music from a news documentary piece that has composite stereo audio. Yes I have permission to do this. No we don’t know what the music clip actually was. No we don’t have access to the source audio.
Thanks

If there is dialog and music at the same time that’s “difficult” and sometimes impossible. But you can try OpenVINO Music Separation.. I haven’t tried it but AI is getting smarter every day!

As you probably know, you’ll need an video editor (or other tool) to re-multiplex the audio & video.
