I am running 3.6.2 and it constantly crashes when I close it - The crash report cannot be sent

Hello, This has been going on for a very long time. When I properly close an Audacity 3.6.2 file, it completely crashes. I get a crash report which cannot be sent. I like this version as I had issues with newer versions. What do I do?

Also, are all these crash reports leaving artifacts on my system?

How Long?

That would be an .aup3 project file? Can you export a WAV (Microsoft) file and preserve the sound?

We don’t have direct connection to the Developers. The forum is the only help service.
