I have many tracks done, but I want to watch a certain track while I’m recording. How do I keep the view on that track even through Audacity wants me to jump to watch the new track I’m recording (which is not necessary.)
Don’t you want to hear the track while you’re recording a new track? You are doing this in overdubbing, right?

Yeah, I know how to do that, I just want to be able to see the top line out of many, and it falls off the screen when it scrolls down to show me the track I am recording.
