I am gutted that my aup3 file won’t open!

I been working on it so so long…. Can anyone help me out?!? I was saving it all the time.

Was there any error message given when you tried? Also, which version of Audacity are you using?

Hi, it says that audacity failed to read the file.

I am using 3.7.4

Could you tell me the size of the aup3 file too, please?

It’s 2.45gb

After using the Audacity project tools I was able to get the project file to open successfully.

Yeah!!!

Now Lcohen… Make a back-up and export to WAV or FLAC if you don’t already have WAV or FLAC files. :wink:

Regular audio files are simpler and more robust than Audacity project files.
