How to switch on Themes option

Hi there,

I have spent a long time looking through this forum and the web and I can not find how to switch on the Themes option on Version 2.1.2 using linux Mint (which is based on Ubuntu).
Whenever I go to EDIT | PREFERENCES | INTERFACE the Small window that pops up does not have the Themes option.

That version is too old for the new Themes.
There was an experimental version of themes in the ancient 1.3.x series, but that was discontinued.

Ubuntu 18.04 has Audacity 2.2.1 which has the new themes.
