How To Speed Up Multiple Files?

Hello everyone,

I just downloaded Audacity 2.3.0 for MacOS High Sierra.

I would like to speed up about 40 mp3 files that I have to 2X speed.

I was hoping to follow the procedure outlined here:

but I can’t find the File > Edit Chains that they mention.

Kindly assist.

“Chains” were a kind of cut down version of “macros”.
We’ve now called them macros, and extended what they can do.
The Macro commands are in the new “Tools” menu.
