I presume that you are talking about reverberation?
Unfortunately reverberation is almost impossible to remove once it has been recorded. What you need to do is to avoid recording it in the first place. Techniques that help to avoid reverberation include, using a microphone close to the thing that you are recording, recording in a place that is well “damped” (soft furnishings help to absorb sound reflections), use the right sort of microphone for the job (built-in laptop microphones are usually rubbish).
Another possibility is that your sound card may be adding a “reverb effect” on playback. Check your sound card settings and ensure that all enhancements and effects are turned off.
