How to remove fixed durations at beginning and end of hundreds of files?

Hi.

I am a new comer to Audacity. I have hundreds of audio files that I need to remove fix durations at the beginning and end of each file. There are many macro commands so I am not sure which ones should I use. Any help is appreciated.

What kinds of files are they? MP3? WAV? This job may be more difficult than just cutting the beginning and ending off.
