How to record from speakers and not from microphone [SOLVED]

How to record from speakers and not from microphone?
The purpose is to record from webcasts online, the same as listening audio from speakers/headphones.
But audacity picks up the signal from the microphone and the sound is awful and almost unheard.
What to do to mute the mike and pick up the signal from the speakers instead ?
Could someone help please

Please read Tutorial - Recording Computer Playback on Windows - Audacity Manual . As described there, you can use the Windows WASAPI host in Audacity to record computer playback if nothing else works.
