I would like to install Audacity 3.1.2 in Ubuntu 16.04.
When I get to the Pypar2 page, and click Go, nothing happens.
Suggestions?
Ubuntu 16.04 is past its end of life (obsolete).
I don’t know why you are going anywhere other than the official Audacity website. Audacity 3.1.2 is available as an AppImage here: Audacity ® | Downloads

16.04 is obsolete. It may be time for a change.
The link you provided is the site I attempted to use to download Audacity.
The Pypar2 page comes up after the download has completed, and that is where I get stuck.
As I said earlier, when I get the Pypar2 page, and click go, nothing happens.
Perhaps with a clearer understanding, someone can steer me in the right direction.
That should not be happening. Maybe you need to uninstall Pypar2.

I did try to uninstall Pypar2, and found that I need to open a terminal.
I have not used that side of the computer.
It looks like I have to go to the computer shop, given the outdated operating system, and this issue with Pypar2.
