how to export in lavf54 using the ffmpeg

Hello, can anyone help ?

I have the ffmpeg installed but I dont see lavf54 anywhere nor do I see the libaformat

from what i know its an encoder. i read somewhere that it stands for libaformat. I am not sure. Some songs are encoded with it thats all i know lol

What are you trying to do, exactly? See here for how to install the recommended FFmpeg 2.2.2 in Audacity http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#ffdown. That will let you export in more formats, such as WMA, MP4 and AC3. It uses libavformat 55.
