Thank you for your reply to my message.

I connected the power charge, cable from the cassette tape player to the computer.

I downloaded Audacity 2.0.3, inserted a cassette tape in the cassette tape player, pressed play and at the same time clicked the “red button” in Audacity and started recording.

Please let me know what are the next steps.

I was using this technique too. I was playing the cassete and recording the music by microphone. The problem is how to remove the noise related with the speakers. I have stil to find an effective system to improve the recorded sound.
