HOW DO YOU DOWNLOAD A PLUG-IN

Hey guys,

I’m using OS X 10.7.5 and Audacity 2.1.3.

I need the D-esser plug-in so I went to this site - http://www.digitalspitfish.com - and downloaded the correct plug-in but it’s not showing up in Audacity?

It says I need to place the files in the directory ‘~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/’ but I have no idea how to do that.

Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

The URL should be … http://www.digitalfishphones.com
Those plugins >10 years old : they may not work on modern Macs.

Correct. Spitfish is PPC only. It would require OS X 10.6 or earlier (using Rosetta on 10.6) and Audacity 2.1.1 or earlier.
