I am a Windows 7 user who has recently downloaded Audacity 2.0.3. I have been using the overdub feature to overlay instrumentals with vocals. Whenever I wish to delete a single track, I find that I cannot. I select the offending track using the select tool and go into the “edit” menu and click “remove audio or labels”, but all the options are inaccessible, even though I have selected the track. I have tried clicking the “X” in the upper left hand corner of the track, but it doesn’t do anything. What I am wanting to know is how do you delete a whole entire track, not just cut out a single part. Thanks.
Th [X] in the corner of the track should do it.
Ensure that playback is not “Paused”, it must be “Stopped” (press the “Stop” button first).
