How Do I Set A Default WAV Export Option?

I’m using Audacity 2.3.0 running on MacOS Mojave 10.14.2.

I’ve searched the FAQ for an answer but no dice. Can anyone tell me how to set Audacity so that when I export to WAV, it always defaults to WAV 24-bit PCM? At present, I have to manually change it (from 16-bit WAV) each time I export.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

“File menu > Export > Export Audio…” (not “Export as Wav”)
This will default to the last used settings.
