I am not sure what you are trying to do here. The .WAV spec by nature is of finite length.

Hi jademan,

To accomplish the endless loop, producing the same soundtrack over and over, should I just record the .wav soundtrack one after the other with no “gaps” in between to complete the “endless loop”?
What do you think?

At the risk of repeating myself, I am not sure what you are trying to do here. The .WAV spec by nature is of finite length.

If you import a .WAV file, do Ctrl+A (select), then Ctrl+D (duplicate) 4 times, you will have 16 copies of your original audio. If you then do Tracks > Align Tracks > Align End to End, you will have audio that plays 16 times longer than the orignal. File > Export should convert that file for you.

If you want seamless loop playback see …

If you want to record audio continuously, 24/7, and start overwriting memory after, say, a week, then you’ll need different recording software, (Audacity was not designed for surveillance).
