How do I get my songs to save to WMP?

I just completed converting my first album from vinyl, saved to Windows 10. I have the both the album as a whole AND each of the 9 songs from the album (separated) in MP3 format. I can get the songs to play on WMP, I can’t figure out how to save them on WMP (so I have 1-click access to the songs). Do I need to use it in a different format than MP3, and is there specific steps I have to take to save the songs on WMP?

Thank you for any responses.

Windows Media Player should have no trouble playing MP3s. Can you play other MP3s? Can you re-open and play the MP3s in Audacity?

It might be “easier” if you tag the files with the title, album, artist, and track number. You can use the Audacity metadata editor or a special-purpose application like MP3tag. (MP3tag can add album artwork. Audacity cannot.)

So that means you have 10 MP3s?

If you associate the mp3 file type with Windows Media Player on your computer then you’ll get the “1-click access”.
