So i made a song on audacity but my brother deleted the app from the computer. The file is still on the computer because i saw the name i named it but then I downloaded audacity again but once i tried opening the file it said the file could not be found. I really need to know how to get the file working because im not trying to sing the song again.

Audacity does not like to Save sound files. If you want a sound file you have to Export one.
But it does save Projects. This is a Project example.
You have to have both parts. They have to be in the same location or folder, have the same name and and it has to be the name you gave them when you made them.
If you don’t have all that, it may be easier to sing it again.
After you get done singing, Export the work as a WAV (Microsoft) 16-bit. That’s your backup copy. Put it somewhere safe like a thumb drive or your personal folder. Do Not do production in MP3.
Then Save a Project if you want to for editing or post production filtering and effects. You can edit the WAV file, too, but do it to a copy. Not the original.
You should never have to sing a song again because of an accident.
