How can i play sound clips outside of the app

Hi, one quick question. Is it possible to play a sound clip using the hotkeys outside of the app itself? Like I would like to play a sound clip inside another app, like VRchat without having to leave the game. So, is there any way I could play the clip while still inside a different application?

soundboard software would be the app for that , rather than Audacity.

And, you’ll need to export to a WAV or MP3 file. If you save an Audacity project it only opens in Audacity.
