Mid-record, suddenly a high-pitched squeaky sound has appeared and I cannot get rid of it.
Done all the cable removal and blowing and restarting tricks, noise still present.
I was in the middle of recorsinf an audiobook, and have been using this set up for years with no problem. Odd it just happened in the middle of a recording. I didn’t realize until I had finished the chapter and done my mastering. You can see it in the waveform.
Any ideas? Do I need to buy a new scarlett to USB port cable do you think?
