Hi folks,
Just finished a recording for a podcast and Audacity crashed. In relaunch, a pop-up indicated there are unsaved files available for recovery but I’ve not had any luck finding the file path to access those…and I really want to. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Didn’t it offer to recover [Yes|No]? I didn’t think there was a search and rescue component to it.
Unless you were using a really early Audacity… What version are you using?
I’m using Audacity 2.1.0 and 2.1.1.

If you are using an obsolete 1.2 version of Audacity, see http://legacywiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Crash_Recovery#How_to_recover_unsaved_data for how to find where the temp folder is and how to recover that data.
Please see the pink panel at the top of the page for how to update to the latest Audacity version.
