Help!
I cant find Manage in my Effects, my Generate, nor my Analyze tabs. Please help? I want to use some VST effects.
The “manage” feature on the effects menu , (&other menus), only came in recently , Audacity 2.1.0 [?]
Your version of Audacity may not have “manage” on the effect-menu because it is pre 2.1.0.
You can get the latest version of Audacity from here … http://audacityteam.org/download/
[ BTW “manage” is at the very top of the effect menu ]
And it changes for the upcoming 2.1.2 where we have changed the menu item to “Add / Remove Plug-ins”

The “Manage…” item and the ability to add/remove shipped effects that come with Audacity was introduced in 2.1.1 (the current version).
