*Using Windows 7, Audacity version 2.0.5, obtained from the .exe installer.
So I’ve been working on a song recently. I had about 7 tracks on it (most of which were back-ups or the original recordings). At one point I minimized all of them, but now I cannot re-open them again. This problem is only on the one song; no other songs do this. I tried uninstalling and re-installing Audacity, to no avail. Help?
Do you mean that you can’t “vertically resize” them?
There are two way to reduce the vertical height of a track, “resizing” and “collapsing”.
“Resizing” can be done by clicking and dragging the bottom edge of the track, or using “View menu > Fit Vertically”.
“Collapsing” a track can be done using “View > Collapse All Tracks”, “View > Expand All Tracks”, or by clicking the “Expand/Collapse” button at the bottom of the track information panel: Audacity Manual
