HELP to recover a project

PC version: Windows 7
Audacity version: 2.3.2

Hi I deleted an audacity project by mistake but I still have the data file left. Is there a way for me to recover the entire project with all the short sound files left? Thank you so much in advance! :blush: :blush: :blush:

That depends on whether it’s still in the Recycle Bin. If it is in the Recycle Bin you should be able to restore it. If it’s not there, then it’s permanently deleted.
You need the “AUP” file and the corresponding “_data” folder.

Unfortunately, I did empty the recycle bin permanently so I guess I have to redo the whole thing. Lesson learned!
