I recorded a podcast episode using Craig on Discord with my friend and I am trying to get the echo to go away on Audacity but it’s not working. The echo is on my friends end of the podcast and not mine.
Audacity has no tools to get rid of echo. It’s one of the permanent errors.
How are you doing the podcast? Each person records their own voice and sends the sound file to you? That’s a little “marching cats,” but it produces the best sound. If you try to do that with a machine set to record internet music, you may get the local voice twice, one in normal record and once with internet transmission delay.
Are you trying to record everything on your machine? Does the software say you can do that?
