Right, im trying to record a few mixes from my technics and numark mixer, ive got the rcas all in and the usb plugged in. However, i tryed to use their programme, EnergyXT2, to record but they only thing i manaed to get after an 1 hour of messing about was the most horrible sound qauilty ever imagined. So i had a look if audacity could record, no luck on my own…so i had a look around this forum and found stuff about switching to stereo mix on audacity…which i did…and now what…
Using the UFO202 is basically the same technique as recording from a USB turntable (just that the A/D and USB electronic are between the turntable and the computer rather than inside the turntable). There’s a section in the wiki about USB turntables: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=Transferring_tapes_and_records_to_computer_or_CD
The UFO202 has a built-in phono pre-amp (for directly connecting a turntable). If you are connecting the output of your mixer, make sure you have the input switch set to Line.
