I have been using Audacity for years. I switched to Audacity 4 about a week ago. I am using the software to analyze and label audio files. I saved a project with labels as an aup4 file, and when I tried to open it I got an error message saying Audacity couldn’t read the file. The filename was in English, but it was stored in a directory named in Hebrew. When I moved the file out of the Hebrew named directory (to my desktop) just top check, it opened without any problem. I hope you would fix that in the future, for now I’m switching back to Audacity 3,
Thank you
I think some other posts said Audacity 4 doesn’t play nice with accented characters in file names either. A wise move to go back to v3.x, I think.
