Please advise I have the Aup. files but the my dat files were destroyed when thumb drive went up in flames is there a way to play or convert the aup file
so that it plays correctly these are for court documents and beyond important I am losing it bad please advise…thank you
The audio data is saved in the “_data” folder, not in the .AUP file.
The .AUP file just tells Audacity how to reassemble the audio data into an Audacity project. Without the audio data there is no audio.
The AUP file would need to be in the same folder as the _data folder is in. Did you move the AUP file before the drive went up in flames or are you looking for the correct _data folder?
