Filter Curve EQ sounds noticeably different in preview than in result

I’ve no idea why this is happening and it is causing me major issues with Audacity as a whole.

I’m running Audacity 3.7.3 on Windows 11

I’ve tried:

  1. Messing with audio settings
  2. Increasing audio quality and playback quality
  3. Running Audacity with administrator
  4. Reinstalling audacity through website and through MuseHub
  5. Restarting computer
  6. Running audacity with no plugins or tools activated

I see only 2 results posted on google about this issue, one on Reddit with one unhelpful comment, the other here with no comments

How to reproduce: Compare Filter Curve EQ preview with result, small frequency change, large frequency change, doesn’t matter.

Here is a video with the issue (heavy bass and low pitch to easily show difference)
The same video has the same audio with normal Bass and Treble being used, it’s not as noticeable, but the difference is still there and it’s enough to cause issues when precise EQ is needed.
