My computer died, and I forgot to save the audio file. When the Recovery button came on, I clicked it. I did not know I had to select the files to get them back. I searched everywhere and could not find my files. Are these files gone forever? I tried all the strategies listed and no luck.
Unless you selected the option for deleting the recoverable files they should all still be there and offered for recovery the next time you re-launch.

I looked everywhere. I did not know that I needed to highlight the checkboxes to save the files. I just clicked the Recovery button assuming that I saved the files.
