FFmpeg install failure

I have Audacity 3.3.3 running on Mac OS 10.13.6 and I cannot get it to see the FFmpeg library I installed. I tried several times with the installer to no avail. I also tried with HomeBrew which after a lot of activity at the end returned - Error: ffmpeg: Failed to download resource “libvorbis”
Download failed: Homebrew-installed curl is not installed for: https://downloads.xiph.org/releases/vorbis/libvorbis-1.3.7.tar.xz

Any insight into resolving this would be appreciated
