If you’re serious about wanting to deliver what users need, you should provide a method in the app for providing feedback. Since I don’t see one, I’ll provide it here:
- “End” key should take you to end of selected track; “Home” to beginning.
- Missing the old “Track Size - Fit to Height” function. Should be an option to open files to full available height; adding files causes each to decrease height but still fill available vertical space.
- What happened to “Export - Multiple”? I use this all the time!
- Consider adding difference in RMS level in “Measure RMS” result:

- Include the “Amplify Left or Right Channel” effect; I can give it to you if you don’t have it.
- When I create my first track label (CTRL+B), it does not switch focus to the label so I can type it in.
- When it says “Restart to apply new settings” and I click on “Ok”, it should restart.
I’ll stick with v.3 for now, but will check back after some time to see how v.4 is progressing. Thanks.
Also, I can’t figure out how to migrate my old VST3 plugins. I put them in my user’s “Audacity4\Plugins” folder, but they don’t show up even after an app restart and plugins rescan.
