i have an OS X Yosemite mac and audacity 2.0.5. i am attempting to transfer lps to i tunes, via audacity. i can get the lps into audacity but can’t get the tracks from audacity to itunes. i am clicking on file, then export selection, then save on the box that drops down, then yes on the “warning this file already exists, replace?” box, then ok on the metadata box (after in have entered the title, artist, etc. information, then the transfer box comes up and show the file beings transferred. when i got to i tunes the file is nowhere to be found. what am i missing and/or doing wrong? thank you.

Personally I prefer to do my metadata management in iTunes rather than Audacity - and I prefer to use iTunes to convert WAVs to AAC for me.

Also please be aware that 2.0.5 does not support Yosemite. Please upgrade to 2.1.0 for Yosemite support: http://audacityteam.org/download/mac.
