Exporting Issue with Voloco

Hi Guys,

Tricky one here but please let me know if you can help.

I am using the voloco (autotune) plug in in audacity.

Initially, when I started using the plugin audacity the audio sounded distorted (literally unlistenable buzzing) when I used the autotune therefore I increased the sample rate (48000hz) from Audacity’s default settings to 88200hz.

This fixed the initial issue and the audio sounds good when played in audacity.

However when i went to export the audio as an mp3 the max sample rate that i can export it to is 48000hz. When I exported it the audio was distorted again.

I’ve tried exporting it as a wav file but the same issue persists even when I select 32-bit float and a 88200hz sample rate. I’ve tried increasing the sample rate but this doesn’t seem to work either.

If you have any reccomendations please let me know, Its a bit frustrating that the 2 applications are not too compatible with each other.

So I exported it clean without the autotune plugin and the audio is clean as you would expect however when I export it with the plug-in on the audio is ruined. Not sure how to fix this?
