Greetings
Please excuse me. I am new to Audacity, and I haven’t found a way to find an answer to my question.
Using a Stanton USB turntable windows 7, and Audacity 2.0.5
I have gotten a record on Audacity, and can play it and edit it, but when I export to either MP3, or WAV the resulting file has no sound. What could possibility be wrong? Any help greatly appreciated.

Probably you have not reset Windows Sound to use the built-in computer sound device. See: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_playback.html#usb.

Weird! WAV files tend to be especially foolproof…
What happens if you re-open the WAV or MP3 in Audacity? Does it open at all? If it opens, do you see the waves, or do you get a flat line? Will it play in Audacity when you re-open it?
As another check, do the file sizes seem about right? i.e. A “CD quality” WAV file (44.1kHz, 16-bit, stereo) will be about 10MB per minute and a “typical” 256kbps MP3 will be about 2MB per minute.
