Export menu is missing in Audacity 3.7.5 on Windows 10

Hello, this is my first time posting here. I recently started using Audacity and I am still a beginner.
I have summarized my situation below. I am not very good with computers, so I would appreciate clear and simple instructions.

Details of my question:

Audacity version: 3.7.5

Operating system: Windows 10 (64-bit)

Problem: The “Export Audio” menu does not appear.

Troubleshooting steps I have already tried:

Reinstalled Audacity (version 3.7.5, 64-bit installer) and confirmed all initial settings.

Checked file associations and verified WAV files can be opened.

Tested with all effects and plugins enabled — “Export Audio” menu still missing.

Disabled all effects/plugins via “Plugin Manager” → restarted Audacity → problem persists.

Reset window layout and other UI settings (where available) — no effect.

Deleted Audacity user profile folders:
C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Audacity
C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Audacity
Relaunched Audacity — problem persists.

Tested running Audacity as Administrator — still cannot see “Export Audio” option.

Confirmed that .aup3 project files load normally but cannot be exported to WAV.

Tried different WAV files and new projects — same result.

That’s a strange one. The only thing I can think of is Tools → Reset Configuration.

Just to clarify, you can see File → Export Audio, but then nothing happens, right?

…You can’t export if there’s nothing to export or while the audio is playing or recording but I don’t know what else is blocking you.
