export dialog too tall

the height of the export dialog gets too tall when there are too much ID3 tags. the problem is that this height keeps even with new files, so i can’t resize the window to view the bottom buttons.

where i can’t reset theses values to star over again?

Thanks for the report.

Quit Audacity.

Open Finder. Use Go > Go to Folder (whatever it says in your language).

Type or paste in:

~/Library/Application Support/audacity/

In the “audacity” folder, you will see the “audacity.cfg” settings file. Open that file in TextEdit. Find the line that says [TagsEditor] and delete the four lines underneath that start with x, y, width and height.

Here is an example of what it might look like:

[TagsEditor]
x=240
y=57
width=577
height=620

Alternatively, delete audacity.cfg if you don’t mind losing any custom settings you may have.

Note: When reporting a problem, please give us the necessary information from the pink panel at the top of the page. If you are not running Audacity in English, say exactly which language Audacity is running in.

anyway, this problem i got so many versions ago. i think since 1.X versions.
