Hi!
I have a question. Why in a new version Audacity 2.1.1 are all VST effects dissable?
Everything is set a good, path and some VSTs worked good in previous version. Please, fix It, or remove this feature of VST effects.
Have you tried enabling the “known to work” plug-ins with the plug-in manager? http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/manage_effects_generators_and_analyzers.html
OK!
I did that, ofcourse, I’v enabled It again, I pressed OK button, but they are disabled, because I view It again and It says, for every VST, they are disabled.
Nextly, I have checked every boxes in the Settings dialogue, so everything must be OK.
I presume that you did click the “Enable” button for each effect before clicking the “OK” button?
Which version of Windows are you using and which “known to work” plug-ins are you having problems with?
Yes, ofcourse, I do, as You say.
This is Windows 7, 64-bit.
But It was OK in previous versions in the same system and this is ofcourse for every VST plugins.
Do you mean Effects Preferences?
It should only be necessary to select all the effects and click “Enable” once, then click OK.
I suggest you quit Audacity, then go to Users<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Audacity\ ( see http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/preferences.html#stored ). In that “Audacity” folder, delete the “pluginregistry.cfg” file. Then restart Audacity, Effect > Manage… , select all the effects, Enable, OK.
If that does not help, please attach pluginregistry.cfg as it is after all the above steps. Rename the file to pluginregistry.txt to attach it. Please see here for how to attach files: https://forum.audacityteam.org/t/how-to-attach-files-to-forum-posts/24026/1
