When I try to open the program, it just continues to buffer, and won’t respond. I’ve tried reinstalling several times but it wont work. I’m on windows 8, how can I fix this?
Run an in-depth anti-virus scan on your computer (overnight), then download Audacity 2.1.1 from here: http://web.audacityteam.org/download/windows
During installation, select the “reset preferences” option.
