I use Audacity to process podcast files, and just in the last 6 months or so I have been getting a lot of errors on import. These include Bad huffman code, bad file length, and forbidden bitrate value. Audacity won’t import anything with an error, so I have to use online converters to convert the files, and then Audacity will load them. I never had these problems before, and sine it is a number of podcasts that all at once started doing this I doubt it was a cahnge on the podcasts’ part. Is there a way to dial back the error sensitivity?
No; but you could try an older version of Audacity: Old Audacity versions download. First I would verify that you are having the issue with the current 3.3.3 version. Help > About Audacity.
