Hi All,
I’m Gustavo Woltmann. I’m new here and also started to use Audacity very recently. Please help me solving the issue.
When click edit, preferences, and then click the audio i/o tab under recording, there is no available devices to click. What to do now?
Which version of Audacity? (look in “Help menu > About Audacity”)
What are you trying to record?
Assuming that you have a sound card installed in your computer and are using Audacity 2.1.2, my guess is that some other application has taken exclusive control of the sound card so that there are no available devices for Audacity. Normally in Audacity 2.1.2 you would select the device via the device toolbar.
Are you also receiving “No audio devices found. Internal PortAudio Error” when Audacity launches?
If so, or if you have devices enabled in Windows Sound but still no devices in Audacity, another explanation is that you may have to update the drivers of your audio devices to Windows 10 and/or use another version of Audacity.
