I was making a lengthy recording that was at about the 1 hour mark when my computer decided to restart, I was worried the recording had been lost but it appears to have been autosaved, however every time I try to re-open it I receive the error I have included in the title. Any help on how to make this file accessible again would mean so much.
Thank you!
I have attached the file, in case that is of any added help to those who view the thread

It should just be a question of deleting the redundant line before last which is a series of nulls with a duplicate tag at the end.
I’ve attached the repaired file.

Also, if your computer is restarting when recording this strongly suggests a fault with the sound device drivers, or even a hardware fault with the sound device or some other device. See http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_errors.html#reboot for what you can do about this problem.

Thank you so much! I’m honestly really grateful for the speedy reply and everything. Thanks a ton
Good. I’ll mark this as [SOLVED] and lock the topic.
If recordings continue to cause reboots or you need help updating your audio device drivers, please start a new topic.

Or if you were recording unattended, it could be Windows restarting after Windows Update.
It is better to disable updates if you are making important recordings but you can also follow this tip to stop Windows 7 and Windows 8 forcibly restarting after updates .
