Error msg Unable to open output device … Get this message on my desktop when trying to playback a project… Other playbacks work fine. Is Winamp, total recorder, vanbasco midi, all except audacity. No problem on my notebook. Had this same problem with the older version. Amusing the. Portable audacity app on a USB stick so the prog is the same…must be something to do with the desktop (windows 7pro). But I don’f know where to look…hope I made this clear enough…R,

We don’t support Audacity Portable here as it is a different project to ours and we do not know what changes they make to Audacity.
