All of a sudden, Voice Record is recording in FP.m4a format instead of wav. Next to the word “save”, there is a red circle with a white triangle inside it, and inside that is an exclamation point. When I click on it, I get an error message that says to prevent data loss, we highly recommend to save this record to an external cloud platform. This warning is on every one of my files on Voice Record. I have no idea why this happened or how to fix it.
When I try to open the file in Audacity, I get a message saying the file is an Advanced
library, Audacity cannot open this type of file. Otherwise, you need to convert it to a supported audio format, such as wav or AIFF. I figured out a way to record future files in wav, but I have to go to advanced settings and select wav each time I make a recording. I am terrible at technology-can anyone help me fix this?
