The instructions on this page tell you how to get to the Audacity settings folder. Once there, look for a folder called “SessionData”. Delete any file you find inside that folder.
Do not delete any of the settings file you find there, such as “audacity.cfg”, “pluginregistry.cfg” and “pluginsettings.cfg”.
