Hello, I am very new to Audacity. I have recently been mixing some songs together just for fun when I encountered a problem, “Couldn’t find the project data folder.” Now, I have looked around the forum and noticed similar posts but I am still EXTREMELY confused what do to. I can find the data folder and the original file in Finder. A second error says “could not load file” I am going to upload a screenshot in the AUP file opened in a text editing program because I saw a similar post with that. I would really apperciate some help! thanks so much!!! 
It should be in the same folder as the .AUP file and should be called “airband_data”.
The AUP file and the _DATA folder should be in the same place or folder. If you moved either of them, then the show will not open.
Double click on the AUP file and it should find the _DATA folder and open the show.
You can’t rename anything or clean up. If you changed the name of anything the show may not open.
Your show should be:
airband.aup (file)
airband_data (folder)
