Hi,
I just ran into an issue with my Audacity that was throwing an error code -9997 when trying to record Windows WASAPI Speaker Output. I’ve found a fix and just thought it may be useful to people like me who were lost with this and confused.
The fix is make sure your audio enhancements within Windows are DISABLED!
